Cigar Band Braille Ring
This wooden ring features your name, initals, or word of your choice in braille. It is perfect for bridal gifts and birthdays among others. I made one of these for my husband on his first fathers day. It says "Daddy" and he loves it!
Each dot is made with sterling silver set into a wooden ring. You can choose the type of wood used. You can see my current supply in the last photo. If you have something else in mind please let me know and I might be able to find it.
The rings in the photos are just over 0.5" wide. Please note I cannot make the ring much thinner because it needs to accommodate the braille letters. Also, the number of letters I can incorporate into your ring will be dependent on your ring size. A smaller ring will not allow for as many letters.
Please note, this is not functional braille. The dots are all flat and meant as a reminder for a personal message.
When determining your ring size I always suggest going to a jeweler. It will only take a moment and should be free. I say this because once I make a ring I can never make it smaller. However, if you can't get to a jeweler here is an online resource:
